Software Goodies Applet Marquee Wizard If you have Java enabled in your browser, and you'd like to take a little slideshow break, visit the Cows at the Fair. The link will open a new window and the slideshow will begin after a couple of minutes of download time. The slideshow was created with an easy to use program called the Applet Marquee Wizard from Coffee Cup Software. You can download and try the software but you won't be able to deploy your applet on your web site unless you register and pay for the software. At the time of this writing, the Applet Marquee Wizard was a very reasonable $25 US. Once you download and install the Applet Marquee Wizard (which in a Windows environment works like any other install), you are ready to go. Get your photos that you want to put in your slideshow in a web-compatible format like JPEG (.jpg). Make all your photos the same pixel size. Write down the number of pixels wide and tall your photos are. Page 2
